BRAD HUNN

With 45 years of flooring experience, Brad transitioned from lead installer to Owner of Factory Carpets & Vinyls in July 2024. As a second-generation flooring specialist, he brings a lifetime of technical mastery to the business. A respected mentor within the trade, Brad has trained and developed generations of flooring installers. He is now focused on the succession of the family business, personally passing his skills down to his son and grandson to ensure the company’s legacy of quality workmanship continues for years to come.

As first point of contact for our customers, Lorrain brings a meticulous eye for detail and a perfectionist’s touch to the Factory Carpets & Vinyls showroom. A former gym owner with 25 years of experience in the fitness industry, she is deeply passionate about helping people and building genuine relationships. Lorraine provides specialist consulting on custom orders, utilizing her sharp eye for colour matching and finishes to ensure every client project is executed to an elite standard.

As a BCITO qualified professional with a Certificate in Floor Planning and Design, Ra brings technical precision and a strategic approach to every project. With a passion for continuous learning and development, Ra is dedicated to delivering streamlined service and high-quality flooring solutions for all our clients.

With nearly 20 years in the flooring trade, Sorro is a Master Installer specializing in high-end commercial vinyl. While an expert in complex commercial projects, he is equally skilled across all residential carpet and vinyl applications. A dedicated family man and sports enthusiast, Sorro brings immense technical expertise to the company and takes great pride in being part of the family-oriented team at Factory Carpets & Vinyls.

With 13 years of specialized experience, Bevan is our carpet expert, known for his exceptional attention to detail and precision. His dedication to his craft has earned him a reputation for delivering flawless finishes, with consistent positive feedback from our clients. When he’s off the tools, Bevan is a car enthusiast who enjoys working on his latest project or heading to the beach to relax with a cold drink.

Ajani is currently in his second year of his BCITO apprenticeship, specializing in carpet and vinyl installations.

Outside of the job site, Ajani is a passionate local youth leader and a proud big brother, committed to supporting and mentoring those around him.

Trainee / Assistant

evangeline pakalani

Evangeline is a dedicated Showroom Assistant and Trainee at FCAV, currently balancing her final year at St Cuthbert’s College with her role in our family business. . A natural leader, she holds multiple leadership positions spanning cultural and community service, most notably as a Kāhui Rangatahi bringing that same sense of responsibility and connection to our team. While she is currently focused on gaining essential life and work skills within the flooring industry, Evangeline is an aspiring Paediatrician with a long-term goal of serving her community through medicine. She is a vital part of the FCAV family, committed to supporting our customers while preparing for her bright future ahead.
